Pauline Whyte
Pauline is a qualified teacher with a BSc (Hons.) in Physiology and a Certificate in Education. She holds full studio certification from The Pilates Foundation UK is a member of Body Control Pilates Association, Level 3 REP's (Pilates) teacher and a level 4 Body Control Pilates, Low Back Pain specialist. Pauline is now a Supervising Teacher for Body Control Students.
As well as Pilates, in the past, Pauline has been a qualified basketball an ASA swimming coach and until recently regularly competed in middle distance running events, providing her with a unique insight into the world of sports and the specific part that Pilates can play.
Pauline works with clients of all abilities in the studio, integrating mat work with the large specialist Pilates equipment for rehabilitation and corrective exercise as well as challenging those who need to return to competitive sports and for fitness.
Pauline has experience in teaching other health professionals about Pilates, its application in assisting rehabilitation and sports therapy, she has worked with highly respected Pilates instructors and physiotherapists in London and in the South East.
Pauline continually keeps her skills and education up to date by participating in a programme of continued professional development, specifically on clinical, rehabilitation Pilates and mat work. In 2010 qualifing as a specialist in Low Back Pain management with Body Control Pilates Association. (Level 4 REPs), This qualification is fully recognised by Back Care, the charity for Healier Backs.
