FAQs

Q – I’ve never done Pilates before. Can I join a group class?

A – Before entering a group class, it is ideal to have at least one private session first, to ensure that you are ready and safe to join a class. It is important that you have a good understanding of the basics before you begin to work on more challenging exercises. Private sessions may not suit everyone from a financial perspective – but we offer competitive rates for your initial one to one consultation and an then introductory offer on classes.

Q – What should I wear?

A – Something that is comfortable and easy to move in. You won’t need to wear shoes, but socks are preferable.

Q – What do I need to bring with me?

A – You’ll need a Pilates mat to lie on, and a couple of head cushions. Since the pandemic it’s much safer for clients to bring their own essential items.  If you’d like some help and advice with this, please get in touch.

Q – What happens if I miss my class one week because I am ill or on holiday?

A – If you miss your class, you are able to make it up another time within the block, subject to availability. There is a 24hr cancellation policy.

Q – How long does each class last?

A – Each class is an hour long, with 5 minutes relaxation at the end.
