A private 1:1 session is the best place to start if you are new to Pilates. It will offer you a session geared specifically to your needs. As a newcomer to Pilates, you will learn the basic fundamentals and techniques required to join a group class, or start work on the reformer. Doing a 1:1 session/s is recommended if you are experiencing any pain, have recently had an injury or perhaps you have been recommended to do 1:1 Pilates sessions by a medical professional?
If you would simply like to work out with a friend, family member or a work colleague, then we also offer 1:2 sessions. We can still assess and work with your strengths and weaknesses and tailor your programme to achieve any goals that you may have.
Even the most experienced of students attend regular 1:1 sessions with us to help perfect and refine technique. If you attend a regular class for example, then maybe there is something you haven’t quite mastered in a class situation. Doing a 1:1 can help you to achieve that extra challenging exercise working at a slower and more relaxed pace and under the supervision of the teacher.
These sessions can be take place at the village hall, or our Pilates Studio in Goudhurst.
